Charles I, also known as Charles Robert, was the ruler of the Kingdom of Hungary from 1308 to 1342. During his reign, he faced several significant conflicts, including the Hungarian-Bohemian War (1310-1311) and the Hungarian-Polish War (1332-1335). The Hungarian-Bohemian War occurred within the calculated timespan of his rule and was a struggle for the Hungarian throne against the rival claimant, John of Luxembourg. The Hungarian-Polish War, which also fell within his reign, was a conflict over territorial disputes between Hungary and Poland.
