Joachim-Napoleon, also known as Joachim Murat, was the ruler of the Kingdom of Naples from 1808 to 1815. During his reign, he faced significant challenges, including the Napoleonic Wars. The most important wars that occurred during his tenure were the Peninsular War (1808-1814) and the War of the Sixth Coalition (1812-1814). These conflicts were part of the larger Napoleonic Wars, which engulfed Europe during the early 19th century. Despite his initial success, Murat's rule came to an end in 1815 when the Congress of Vienna restored the Bourbon monarchy in Naples.
