Amadeo I was the King of Spain from 1871 to 1873. During his short reign, he faced several significant conflicts, including the Third Carlist War (1872-1876) and the Cantonal Revolution (1873). The Third Carlist War, a conflict between the Carlists and the Spanish government, began before Amadeo's reign but continued throughout his rule. The Cantonal Revolution, a series of uprisings by federalist and anarchist groups, erupted in various Spanish cities in 1873.
