Minh Mạng was the second ruler of the Nguyễn Dynasty in Vietnam, reigning from 1820 to 1841. During his tenure, he faced several significant conflicts, including the Trịnh–Nguyễn War (1833-1835) and the Siamese-Vietnamese War (1831-1834). These wars were consistent with the calculated timespan of Minh Mạng's rule, as they occurred within the period of 1833-1841. As a ruler, Minh Mạng implemented strict Confucian policies, emphasizing social order and traditional values.
