Władysław IV was the King of Poland during the Polish Insurgents in 1794. He ruled for a brief period in 1794, and his reign was marked by the Kościuszko Uprising, which took place from 1794 to 1795. This uprising was a major conflict in Polish history, led by Tadeusz Kościuszko, aimed at achieving Polish independence from foreign powers. Despite the efforts of Władysław IV and the insurgents, the uprising ultimately failed, leading to the third and final partition of Poland in 1795.
