Luis Miguel Sánchez Cerro was the President of the Republic of Peru from 1930 to 1933. During his tenure, he faced several significant conflicts, including the Colombia-Peru War (1932-1933) and the Aprista Revolt (1932-1933). The Colombia-Peru War, also known as the Leticia Conflict, erupted over a territorial dispute between Colombia and Peru in the Amazon region. The Aprista Revolt, led by the American Popular Revolutionary Alliance (APRA), was a political uprising against Sánchez Cerro's government. Despite these challenges, Sánchez Cerro's presidency was cut short when he was assassinated in 1933.
