Aurelian was a Roman Emperor who ruled from 270 to 275 AD. He was known for his military prowess and successful campaigns during his reign. One of the most important wars that occurred during his tenure was the Palmyrene War, which took place from 270 to 272 AD. Aurelian led the Roman forces against the Palmyrene Empire, defeating its ruler Queen Zenobia and reuniting the eastern provinces with the Roman Empire. Another significant conflict was the Gallic Empire Revolt, which happened from 260 to 274 AD. Aurelian successfully suppressed this rebellion, reestablishing Roman control over Gaul.
