Abu Marwan Abd al-Malik I was a Sultan of the Saadi dynasty who ruled in Morocco from 1576 to 1578. During his short reign, he faced significant challenges, including the Battle of Alcácer Quibir in 1578. This battle, also known as the Battle of Three Kings, was fought against the Portuguese and the combined forces of the Saadi dynasty and the Wattasids. Unfortunately, Abu Marwan Abd al-Malik I was defeated, and it marked the end of the Saadi dynasty's rule in Morocco.
