Abu Salih Mansur ibn Nuh I was an Amir who ruled over the Samanid Empire from 969 to 976. During his reign, the empire faced significant challenges, including the ongoing conflict with the Buyid Dynasty. In 971, the Samanids engaged in the Battle of Gorgan against the Buyids, resulting in a decisive victory for the Samanid forces. Another notable conflict occurred in 975, when the Samanids clashed with the Ghaznavids in the Battle of Nasa.
