Di Xin was the last ruler of the Shang Dynasty, reigning from -1046 to -1045. He ruled over the state of Shang, located in present-day Henan and Shanxi provinces in China. During his reign, the most significant war was the Battle of Muye in -1046, where Di Xin's forces were defeated by the Zhou Dynasty. This defeat marked the end of the Shang Dynasty and the beginning of the Zhou Dynasty.
