Ekkathat was a king who ruled over the Ayutthaya Kingdom from 1760 to 1767. During his reign, the kingdom faced significant challenges, including the Burmese-Siamese War (1765-1767). This war, also known as the Nine Armies' Wars, was a series of conflicts between the Ayutthaya Kingdom and the Konbaung Dynasty of Burma. The war resulted in the fall of Ayutthaya in 1767, marking the end of the Ayutthaya Kingdom and the beginning of the Thonburi Kingdom.
