Songtsen Gampo was the Emperor of the Tibetan Empire from 619 to 649. During his reign, he expanded his empire through military conquests and strategic alliances. This conflict involved Songtsen Gampo's forces fighting against the Tang Dynasty of China, resulting in the establishment of peace and the signing of the Treaty of Chongqing. Another notable war was the Battle of Karasahr in 644, where Songtsen Gampo's army defeated the Western Turkic Khaganate, solidifying his control over the Silk Road trade route.
