Klemens Wenzeslaus Herzog von Sachsen was an Archbishop-Elector who ruled over the Trier Archbishopric from 1768 to 1802. During his tenure, he witnessed the outbreak of the French Revolutionary Wars, which lasted from 1792 to 1802. These wars included significant conflicts such as the War of the First Coalition (1792-1797) and the War of the Second Coalition (1798-1802).
