Porfirio Díaz was the President of the United Mexican States from 1876 to 1911. During his long tenure, several significant wars and revolts took place. One of the most important conflicts was the Mexican Revolution, which began in 1910 and lasted until 1920. This revolution aimed to overthrow Díaz's regime and establish a more democratic government. Another notable war that occurred during Díaz's rule was the Yaqui Wars, which lasted from 1899 to 1918. These conflicts were fought between the Mexican government and the indigenous Yaqui people in northwestern Mexico. Despite his long rule, Díaz's presidency ultimately ended due to the pressures and consequences of the Mexican Revolution.
