Icon Triumvirates, Triumvirate (United Provinces of the Rio de la Plata) : All Data

The Triumvirate was a ruling body consisting of three leaders, namely Gervasio Antonio de Posadas, Juan José Paso, and Nicolás Rodríguez Peña. They governed the United Provinces of the Rio de la Plata from 1811 to 1812. During their tenure, the most significant war was the Paraguayan War, which took place from 1810 to 1811. However, as the Triumvirate ruled until 1812, it is important to note that this war occurred before their time in power. Therefore, there were no major wars that took place during their specific period of rule.
