Viranarasimha Raya was an Emperor who ruled over the Vijayanagara Empire from 1505 to 1509. During his reign, he faced several significant wars and conflicts. One of the most important wars was the Battle of Raichur in 1506, where he successfully defended his kingdom against the combined forces of the Deccan Sultanates. Another notable conflict was the Battle of Diu in 1509, where he allied with the Portuguese to defeat the joint forces of the Gujarat Sultanate and the Mamluk Sultanate.
