Wilhelm Cuno, Chancellor (Weimar Republic) : All Data
Wilhelm Cuno was the Chancellor of the Weimar Republic from August 1923 to November 1923. During his brief tenure, he faced significant challenges, including the aftermath of World War I and the economic crisis that led to hyperinflation. Although he did not directly oversee any major wars, his rule coincided with the Ruhr Occupation in 1923, when French and Belgian forces occupied the Ruhr region of Germany in response to Germany's failure to meet reparation payments. This occupation further exacerbated the economic turmoil and political instability in the country.
