Ghiyasuddin Azam Shah was the Sultan of the Bengal Sultanate from 1401 to 1411. During his reign, he faced several significant wars and revolts. One of the most important conflicts was the War of Succession, which occurred from 1401 to 1405, as various claimants fought for the throne after the death of his father, Sultan Sikandar Shah. Another notable event was the rebellion led by Raja Ganesha, a Hindu ruler, in 1406. This revolt lasted for several years and posed a significant challenge to Azam Shah's rule. Despite these challenges, Azam Shah managed to maintain his authority and stabilize the Bengal Sultanate during his tenure.
