Yongle, also known as Zhu Di, was the third emperor of the Ming Dynasty in China, reigning from 1402 to 1424. He ruled over a vast empire that included present-day China, Mongolia, and parts of Southeast Asia. During his tenure, Yongle led several military campaigns, including the Ming-Mongol War (1409-1410) against the Northern Yuan Dynasty, and the Ming-Hồ War (1406-1407) against the Vietnamese Hồ Dynasty. These conflicts were consistent with his reign, as they occurred within the calculated timespan of his rule.
