Alexis was the Tsar of the Tsardom of Russia from 1645 to 1676. During his reign, he faced several significant wars and revolts. One of the most important conflicts was the Russo-Polish War of 1654-1667, which resulted in the Treaty of Andrusovo, granting Russia control over territories in Ukraine. Another notable war was the Russo-Swedish War of 1656-1658, where Russia successfully defended its territories against Swedish invasion. Additionally, the Moscow Uprising of 1662 posed a major challenge to Alexis' rule, but it was eventually suppressed.
