Henry I was the King of England and the Duke of Normandy from 1106 to 1135. During his reign, the most important wars that occurred were the Norman Rebellion (1106-1107) and the Welsh Wars (1114-1124). The Norman Rebellion, led by Robert Curthose, aimed to challenge Henry's authority over Normandy, but it was ultimately suppressed, solidifying Henry's control. The Welsh Wars, which lasted for a decade, saw Henry successfully expand his influence into Wales, establishing English dominance in the region.
