Ramon Berenguer II the Towhead was the Count of the County of Barcelona from 1077 to 1082. During his reign, he faced several significant conflicts, including the War of the Three Sanchos (1076-1077) and the Siege of Tudela (1080). The War of the Three Sanchos, which occurred just before his reign, involved a power struggle between Sancho IV of Navarre, Sancho Ramírez of Aragon, and Sancho II of Castile. The Siege of Tudela, on the other hand, took place during his rule and was a conflict between Ramon Berenguer II and Al-Muqtadir, the ruler of the Taifa of Zaragoza. Despite these challenges, Ramon Berenguer II managed to maintain his authority and expand his influence in the County of Barcelona.
