Francesco Molin was the Doge of the Republic of Venice from 1646 to 1653. During his reign, Venice was involved in several significant conflicts. Another notable conflict was the War of Castro, which took place from 1649 to 1652. This war was fought between Venice and the Papal States over territorial disputes in central Italy.
