Qianlong was the sixth emperor of the Qing Dynasty, ruling over China from 1736 to 1795. During his reign, he expanded the empire's territory to its greatest extent, incorporating Tibet, Xinjiang, and Taiwan. The most significant wars that occurred during his tenure were the Dzungar-Qing War (1755-1759) and the Sino-Burmese War (1765-1769).
