Massimiliano Sforza was the Duke of Milan from 1513 to 1515. During his reign, he faced significant challenges, including the War of the League of Cambrai (1508-1516) and the War of the Holy League (1511-1513). These conflicts were part of the broader Italian Wars, which involved various European powers vying for control over the Italian peninsula. Despite his efforts to maintain control over Milan, Massimiliano Sforza ultimately lost his position as Duke in 1515 when the French forces, led by Francis I, defeated him at the Battle of Marignano.
