Abdul Hamid II was the Sultan of the Ottoman Empire from 1876 to 1909. During his reign, he faced several significant wars and revolts. One of the most important conflicts was the Russo-Turkish War of 1877-1878, which resulted in the loss of significant territories for the Ottoman Empire. Another notable event was the Greco-Turkish War of 1897, where the Ottoman Empire suffered a defeat against Greece. Additionally, Abdul Hamid II had to deal with the Young Turk Revolution in 1908, which ultimately led to his forced abdication in 1909.
