Muhammad I was an Emir who ruled over the Emirate of Córdoba from 867 to 888. During his reign, he faced several significant wars and revolts. One of the most important conflicts was the Battle of Guadalacete in 867, where Muhammad I successfully defended his territory against the rebellious Banu Qasi family. Another notable war occurred in 878, known as the Battle of Dayr al-Qasi, where Muhammad I defeated the combined forces of the Banu Qasi and the Kingdom of Asturias. These wars and revolts demonstrate Muhammad I's ability to maintain control over his realm and defend against external threats.
