Aššur-etil-ilāni was a king of the Assyrian Empire who reigned from -630 to -608. During his tenure, he faced several significant wars and revolts. One of the most important conflicts was the Babylonian revolt led by Nabopolassar, which began in -626 and lasted until -605. This rebellion ultimately led to the fall of the Assyrian Empire and the rise of the Neo-Babylonian Empire.
