Another notable conflict was the War of the Insurrection, which occurred from 1270 to 1277. This revolt was led by the nobility and aimed to challenge Yekuno Amlak's authority. Despite these challenges, Yekuno Amlak successfully established himself as the ruler of Ethiopia and laid the foundation for the Solomonic dynasty.
