Abdullah was an Emir who ruled over the Emirate of Córdoba from 903 to 920. During his tenure, the most significant wars were the Battle of Alhandega in 907 and the Battle of Simancas in 917. The Battle of Alhandega took place in 907, which falls within Abdullah's reign, and was a decisive victory for the Emirate of Córdoba against the Kingdom of León. The Battle of Simancas occurred in 917, also within Abdullah's reign, and resulted in a major defeat for the Emirate of Córdoba against the Kingdom of León, halting their expansion into Christian territories.
