Muhammad al-Nasir was the Caliph of the Almohad Caliphate, reigning from 1204 to 1213. During his tenure, he faced significant military challenges, including the Battle of Las Navas de Tolosa in 1212, where the Almohads suffered a major defeat against the Christian forces of the Reconquista. This battle marked a turning point in the decline of Almohad power in the Iberian Peninsula. Additionally, in 1210, al-Nasir faced a revolt led by Ibn Hud in the Almohad territories of the Maghreb, further weakening the empire's control over its territories.
