Ala-ud-Din Masud Shah was the Sultan of the Sultanate of Delhi from 1243 to 1246. During his reign, the most significant war was the Mongol invasion of India in 1245. This invasion, led by the Mongol general Baichu, resulted in the Battle of Amroha in 1245, where the Delhi Sultanate successfully defended against the Mongol forces. Another notable conflict during his rule was the revolt of the Khokhars in 1246, which posed a threat to the stability of the Sultanate. Despite these challenges, Ala-ud-Din Masud Shah managed to maintain his rule over Delhi during his short tenure.
