During his reign, he faced several significant conflicts, including the War of the Kings (-1600 to -1595) and the Revolt of the Cities (-1595 to -1594). The War of the Kings was a power struggle between various city-states in Mesopotamia, resulting in Samsu-Ditana's victory and solidification of his rule.
