Amha Selassie, Emperor (ethiopia) : All Data
Amha Selassie was the last Emperor of the Ethiopian Empire, reigning from 1974 to 1975. During his brief tenure, Ethiopia was embroiled in the Ethiopian Civil War (1974-1991), a conflict that erupted following a series of revolts against the ruling regime. Although Amha Selassie's reign was short-lived, it coincided with the early stages of the civil war, which saw various factions vying for power and control over the country. The war eventually led to the overthrow of the monarchy and the establishment of a communist government under Mengistu Haile Mariam.
