Antiochus XII Dionysus was the ruler of the Seleucid Kingdom from -87 to -82. During his reign, he faced significant challenges, including the Mithridatic Wars. The First Mithridatic War, which lasted from -89 to -85, and the Second Mithridatic War, which took place from -83 to -81, were the most important conflicts that occurred during his tenure.
