Simeon I was the Tsar of the First Bulgarian Empire from 893 to 927. During his reign, he led the empire to its peak of power and influence. One of the most significant wars that occurred under his rule was the Byzantine-Bulgarian War of 894-896, where Simeon successfully defended Bulgarian territories and secured a favorable peace treaty. Another notable conflict was the Bulgarian-Serbian War of 917-924, in which Simeon's forces defeated the Serbian Kingdom and expanded Bulgarian control over the Balkans. Simeon I's reign marked a period of military success and territorial expansion for the First Bulgarian Empire.
