Bayezid II was the Sultan of the Ottoman Empire from 1481 to 1512. During his reign, he faced several significant wars and revolts. One of the most important conflicts was the Ottoman-Venetian War of 1499-1503, which resulted in the Ottoman Empire gaining control over several Venetian territories in Greece and Albania. Another notable war was the Ottoman-Mamluk War of 1485-1491, where Bayezid II successfully expanded Ottoman territories into Egypt and Syria, establishing Ottoman dominance in the region. Additionally, Bayezid II faced internal revolts, such as the Celali rebellions in Anatolia from 1499 to 1503, which he managed to suppress, maintaining stability within his empire.
