David I was the King of Scotland from 1124 to 1153. During his reign, he implemented significant administrative and legal reforms, earning him the epithet "David the Saint." One of the most important wars that occurred during his tenure was the invasion of England by King Stephen in 1135, which lasted until 1153. Additionally, David I faced internal conflicts, such as the Revolt of 1138 led by his niece Matilda, which was part of the wider civil war known as The Anarchy.
