The War of the Four Cities, which took place from -1860 to -1856, saw Erishum I leading his forces against rebellious cities in the Assyrian Empire. The War of the Kings, occurring from -1855 to -1854, involved Erishum I defending his rule against rival kings within the empire. Despite these challenges, Erishum I successfully maintained his authority and expanded the influence of the Assyrian Empire.
