Euric was the King of the Visigoths who ruled from 466 to 484. During his reign, he expanded the Kingdom of the Visigoths and established it as a major power in Western Europe. One of the most important wars that occurred during his tenure was the Battle of Déols in 469, where Euric defeated the Roman general Riothamus. Another significant conflict was the Battle of Arles in 472, where Euric's forces defeated the Roman general Anthemius. These wars and victories solidified Euric's rule and further strengthened the Kingdom of the Visigoths.
