Horemheb was the last pharaoh of the 18th Dynasty of Ancient Egypt, ruling from approximately -1299 to -1294. He ascended to the throne after the death of Tutankhamun and is known for his efforts to restore stability and order in the kingdom. During his reign, Horemheb faced several military challenges, including the suppression of the rebellion in Nubia in -1296 and the campaigns against the Hittites in -1295.
