Kapilendra Deva was the Emperor of the Gajapati Kingdom from 1435 to 1467. During his reign, he led his kingdom through a series of significant wars. One of the most notable conflicts was the Kanchi War, which took place from 1443 to 1444. Another important war was the Battle of Tukaroi in 1448, where Kapilendra Deva defeated the Sultan of Bengal. Additionally, he successfully fought against the Sultan of Jaunpur in the Battle of Kanauj in 1458. These wars and victories demonstrate Kapilendra Deva's military prowess and his ability to expand and defend his kingdom during his rule.
