Kyansittha was a powerful king who ruled over the Pagan Kingdom during the period of 1084-1112. Known for his military prowess, he led his kingdom through several significant wars. One of the most important conflicts during his reign was the Mon invasion in 1088, where the Mon people attempted to overthrow the Pagan Kingdom. Kyansittha successfully defended his kingdom and repelled the invasion, solidifying his rule. Another notable war during his tenure was the invasion of the Khmer Empire in 1091, where Kyansittha led his forces to victory against the Khmer forces. His reign was marked by these successful military campaigns, establishing him as a formidable ruler in the region.
