Leo VI, also known as Leo the Wise, was the Emperor of the Byzantine Empire from 886 to 912. During his reign, he faced several significant wars and conflicts. One of the most notable was the Arab-Byzantine Wars, which lasted from 892 to 904. These wars saw Leo successfully defending Byzantine territories against Arab invasions and even launching counteroffensives. Another important conflict was the Bulgarian-Byzantine War of 894-896, where Leo managed to repel Bulgarian attacks and maintain Byzantine control over the Balkans.
