Yuri was the 13th king of the Goguryeo Kingdom, reigning from 2 to 18 AD. During his rule, he faced significant military challenges, including the Goguryeo-Han War (6-9 AD) and the Goguryeo-Xianbei War (12-14 AD). The Goguryeo-Han War, which occurred from 6 to 9 AD, was a conflict between Goguryeo and the Han Dynasty of China. The Goguryeo-Xianbei War, which took place from 12 to 14 AD, was a conflict between Goguryeo and the Xianbei nomadic tribe. Despite these challenges, Yuri successfully defended the Goguryeo Kingdom and maintained its sovereignty during his reign.
