Nandivarman II was a powerful king of the Pallava Dynasty who ruled during the period of 731-796. He held sway over the region of present-day Tamil Nadu, India. During his reign, the Pallava Dynasty faced several significant conflicts, including the Chalukya-Pallava Wars. These wars, which occurred between 642 and 753, were a series of battles fought between the Pallavas and the Chalukyas for control over the Deccan region.
