Philip IV, King (france) : All Data
Philip IV, also known as Philip the Fair, was the King of France from 1285 to 1314. During his reign, he faced significant conflicts, including the War of the Sicilian Vespers (1282-1302) and the Franco-Flemish War (1297-1305). The War of the Sicilian Vespers, which began before Philip's reign but continued during his rule, saw France supporting the Aragonese against the Angevins for control of Sicily. The Franco-Flemish War, on the other hand, was a conflict between Philip and the Count of Flanders, resulting in French victory and the annexation of Flanders into the Kingdom of France.
