Yury, a prince of the Grand Duchy of Moscow, ruled from 1304 to 1321. During his tenure, he faced significant military challenges, including the Lithuanian-Muscovite War (1312-1322) and the Tatar-Mongol invasions. The Lithuanian-Muscovite War, which lasted from 1312 to 1322, saw Yury defending his realm against the expanding Lithuanian forces. Additionally, Yury had to contend with the Tatar-Mongol invasions, including the Battle of Bortenevo in 1317, where he successfully repelled the Tatar forces.
