Rajaram II was the Chhatrapati ruler of the Maratha Empire from 1751 to 1776. During his reign, the Marathas were engaged in several significant wars. One of the most important conflicts was the Third Battle of Panipat, which took place in 1761. This battle resulted in a decisive victory for the Durrani Empire over the Marathas. Another notable war during Rajaram II's rule was the First Anglo-Maratha War, which occurred from 1775 to 1782. This conflict marked the beginning of a series of wars between the British East India Company and the Marathas, ultimately leading to the decline of Maratha power in India.
