Ratu Safiatuddin Tajul Alam was the Sultan of the Aceh Sultanate, reigning from 1641 to 1675. During his tenure, the Aceh Sultanate was involved in several significant wars. One of the most important conflicts was the Aceh War (1641-1644), which saw the Sultanate defending its territory against the Dutch East India Company. Another notable war was the Johor-Aceh War (1660-1661), a conflict between the Aceh Sultanate and the Sultanate of Johor over control of the Malacca Strait.
